York University Scholarship for International Undergraduates



General Eligibility Criteria:
  • Applying for September entry
  • Have an excellent academic record ("A" average or equivalent)
  • An international student with a Study Permit for Canada
  • Applying to the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program in one of the following Faculties:
    • Liberal Arts & Professional Studies
    • Environmental Studies
    • Fine Arts
    • Glendon
    • Health
    • Science & Engineering
    • Schulich School of Business 
     

1) Global Leader of Tomorrow Award


  • $60,000 ($15,000 x 4 years)
  • Highest academic average
  • Nomination by high school
  • Leadership and demonstrated skills
  • To renew - must have a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York

2) United World College Scholarship


  • $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years) 
  • Enrolled in a United World College and high academic standing
  • To renew - maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
  • York requests that only one candidate be nominated per school

3) International Entrance Scholarship


  • $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)
  • Highest academic average
  • Demonstrated leadership skill
  • Letters of recommendation
  • To renew - maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York

4) ScotiaBank Turks and Caico Islands Scholarship


  • $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)
  • Holds a Study Permit to attend York University
  • Entering first year in one of the following business-related programs:
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    • International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA)
    • Administrative Studies (BAS)
    • Business and Society
    • Economics and Business
    • Math and Statistics
    • Math for Commerce
    • International Studies
  • Has achieved a minimum admission average of an "A"
  • Preference will be given to students who participated in the Scotiabank-York University Emerging Global Leaders Program in the Caribbean.
